The Welcome Home Tennessee series is designed to give participants an introduction to gardening in TN. This is the perfect opportunity for those new to the state or new to gardening in general. Over the course of 4 weeks, participants learn the basics on TN climate and soils, sustainable landscaping, lawns, and ornamental plants. Sessions are in person with a lecture and accompanying hands on portion. Lecture portions are recorded and emailed out to participants should they need to miss a session. This class is designed for those wanting to learn more about horticulture, but may not be able to commit to the Master Gardener volunteer program.
