Sustainable in the City presents Culturally-centered Nature Programming
Take a moment to think about nature. What comes up for you? Do you feel the story of your ancestors, the energy of your community, a connection to the natural world, or a sense of welcome? How we experience the natural world can vary greatly depending on factors like race, income, and age with too many of us separated from the belonging and joy inherent to nature. Join us for an important conversation with Unearthing Joy's founder, Ashley Brailsford, as we discuss the responsibility we have in the sustainability space to make our work joyful, inclusive, and relevant to the people we are in community with.
