"The Color of Conservation: Cultivating Creativity and Curiosity" with Robin Whitfield.

This free, online seminar demonstrates several ways we can connect to Place. Robin Whitfield, our presenter, paints on location with watercolor and experiments with foraged wild pigments. She takes a special interest in exploring native habitats on public land in Mississippi. "Relating what’s happening with the paint to what is perceived from nature is a dance of addition and subtraction; an act of filtering, distilling and synthesizing what is loved, sensed and understood."

About Robin: At Lee Tartt Nature Preserve and Friends of Chakchiuma Swamp, she is listed as Director & Visionary. She is often found saving native plants from roadside ditches, encouraging kids to play with mud, and whole-heartedly shares her magic with everyone & everything, wherever she goes.
