What makes a plant "invasive," which plants are invasive in Tennessee, why does this matter, and what can we do about it?

Margie Hunter, our presenter, is a writer and author of "Gardening with the Native Plants of Tennessee: The Spirit of Place." She is a member (and former Secretary) of the Tennessee Native Plant Society, a founding board member and secretary of the Tennessee Naturalist Program, and a member of the Tennessee Invasive Plant Council. She also volunteers with the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Smoky Mountains, and has been hiking the Appalachian Trail.
