11am - 1 pm:  Becki McLeod - When it comes to entertainment, Becki McLeod is proff that size doesn't matter.  Out of her small frame comes one of the most powerful and soulful voices in the music industry today.
Moving from South Carolina to Nashville in May 2003, Becki quickly became a household name in the historic clubs on Broadway.  She has developed her own style and a fan base to go with it!

1:15pm - 3:15 pm - Patch Kelly -  A country music singer/songwriter pursuing her life-long dream in Nashville. She plays guitar, piano, and of course, sings. She grew up many places, but originates from Maryland.  She has acted in many musicals, played in restaurants around Nashville and opened for grammy-nominated artists. She is now in the process of recording her first album and hopes to have it finished by summer of 2017. Growing up, Patch has never wanted to do anything but sing her heart out and make people happy. If she can do that, then she will have reached her definition of success.

Urban Gardening Festival 2018
Saturday, May 19, 2018
A free community event, 9am-4pm (rain or shine)

The Urban Gardening Festival is a unique educational outreach program of the Master Gardeners of Davidson County inviting the public to learn more about a wide variety of gardening methods and techniques while also engaging with local artisans, exhibitors, growers, markets, producers, and other organizations from across the Greater Nashville and Middle Tennessee areas.

We host our event on the campus of Ellington Agricultural Center among our 8,800 sq.ft. Demonstration Garden, a green learning space featuring many teaching areas for such topics as composting and fermentation; worms and vermiculture; container, keyhole, lasagna, raised bed, square foot, and vertical gardening methods; and more specific interests, such as butterfly and beneficial insects, decorative grasses, herbs, perennials, vegetables, and xeriscaping.

During the event, certified Master Gardeners field questions and teach how-to workshops. We also provide a programs tent where vendors and certified Master Gardeners discuss a wide range of topics throughout the day.
